TechWise for Women

WNY STEM Hub, in collaboration with The Girls Scouts of WNY, Buffalo State College, and a group of women Tech Professionals invite you to join us for TechWise for Women.

TechWise for Women is a coding boot camp that meets one Saturday a month from September to May. The program is designed to teach coding, entrepreneurship, leadership and give information about Tech career opportunities to female students and their female relatives. Our Tech professionals will serve as mentors, who will guide and encourage participants as they learn to code webpages, apps and games. Participants will also receive direct support from The Girls Scouts of WNY to earn their STEM badge.

Those who have never coded before, as well as those who have had experience coding, are invited to attend and help us build a supportive learning community that encourages exploration, empowerment and innovation.

Check back for 2021 program information.

Are you a Professional Woman who would like to help mentor a student? It will just take a few hours, once a month! You will be helping to build a community of tech women that will have an impact for generations. If you are interested in volunteering please contact Ms. Simone Ragland at sragland@wnystem.org.
